Do you want to sort an excel list according to colors (background or font)?
Let‘s take the table above as an example.
We‘re going to put the orange lines at the top and the yellow lines at the bottom.
On the Data menu, click Sort.
In the Column box, choose Sort by Team, so you can choose the correct column.
In the Sort On box, click the drop–down list and choose Cell Colour.
In the Order box, Excel shows you the colors that you used. Choose the one you want to see the highest.
Click Add Level and start the process again.
In the Order box, choose a different color. From the drop-down list on the right, choose On Bottom.
Click OK.
You can also sort your data by font color.
Do the same thing as before.
In the Sort On box, choose Font Colour.
