Do you want to compare 2 files (Word or Excel) by scrolling them at the same time? Compare them simultaneously.
Excel and Word allow you to compare 2 files at the same time. On the View menu, click View Side by Side.
If you have more than 2 windows open, you must specify which window you want to display side by side with.
The Synchronous Scrolling button is enabled by default. It allows you to scroll through the 2 documents at the same time. This option can be turned off and on again when you‘re in View Side–by–Side.
If the windows are not side by side but on top of each other, or if you are maximizing one of them, you can restore them by clicking Restore Window Position.
Alternatively, you can rearrange all the windows.
