Are you dissatisfied with the color scheme used in Microsoft 365 apps? Do you prefer the previous? Modify the colors!

In different versions of Office, a color scheme is used by default. This palette can change from one version to another and it completely changes the look of your documents.

It is possible to restore the original colors and/or change them all at once to match your tastes.

The color scheme is a component of the used and customizable Themes of the various Office applications.

Change the color scheme

From the following squares, lets see how to change their colors in a few clicks.

Warning: If you send your file to another person, the color scheme configured on their computer will be used, the colors may not be the same.

In PowerPoint, on the Design menu, click the down arrow in the Variants section.

In the menu that appears, click Colors. Currently the selected one is Office 20132022.

Select another color set and youll see the squares change color.

Create your own color palette

If you have your own graphic charter, it is possible to create personalized palettes to find your colors.

To do this, in the color menu, click Customise Colours.

Then for each element, choose a color. You can also give your new color palette a name.

If you dont like anything in the colours offered, click on More Colours.

You can choose your colors according to the color chart or directly with their codes.

Each selected colour is available in different shades. Find your palette in the different menus: fill color, border color, etc.

You can find your custom color scheme across all Office apps.

In Excel

In Excel, find the Colours in the Page Layout menu.

As on PowerPoint, change the colors of your tables and graphs just by changing the color set.

Dans Word

In Word, find the Colours in the Design menu.

Dans Outlook

In Outlook, you will find the Colours in the Options menu, only when you compose a message.
