When searching through your emails, are you having trouble finding the older ones? They might be stored on the server.
Sometimes when you scroll through your emails, at the very bottom you see a message stating that other elements are stored on the server. You have to click on a link to view these elements.
If you go to another folder, you will have to do the manipulation again.
To automatically view messages stored on the server, on the File menu, in the Info section, click Account Settings. In the drop–down list, click Account name and Sync Settings.
In the example below, you can see that only emails from the last 3 months are displayed (downloaded) in the mailbox.
Drag the slider to the far right, to All and confirm.
Be careful, the operation may take a little time if a lot of emails are stored on the server.
