Do you wish to set an Outlook reminder for a task from OneNote?

OneNote, integrated with Microsoft 365, is connected with other applications, including Outlook. So its very easy to switch from one to the other.

To put a reminder on a task to be done (or other), you will use the interface between OneNote and Outlook.

In OneNote, hover over the text of the task you want to do. Then on the Home menu, click Outlook Tasks.

In the menu, choose for when you need to complete the task.

If you click on custom, you will have the option to enter a different start date than the end date.

You can now see a flag in your notes.

In Outlook, in the Task List menu, you will find this new task.

You can customize it by adding a reminder and/or more detail in the body.

If you are using To-Do app, the new task will appear.
